Who Me?!?

Ramblings about life; my loves, likes, quirks, vices, daily (mis)happenings, family & kobe(s)- my cat & #8. I'm like uh huh, uh huh, okay, okay, wassup, wassup, shut up, shut up. That explains it.

This and That

It's been a while since I last posted so this is kinda old, but always blogworthy!

Val, Amy, the boys & I honky-tonked on down to Cowboy Country and got our boot-scoot on!

We really did try to learn something besides the 'Electric Slide' but were not very successful.

However, we were successful at finding the shooter bar! Woo hoo - Purple Hooters!

It was fun to dance - we haven't gone out dancing in a long time! I even ran into Joe, Samm from work's boyfriend, who was working as a bouncer!

My dad took me to the Laker game for the last regular game of the season as we faced the New Orleans Hornets - we won and took the 7th seed (I think that's what its called) so at least we weren't last going into the Playoffs!

We had great seats & I adored watching Kobe make shot after shot. He is amazing!!

Sadly the Lakers got their butts whooped in game 7 of round 1. BOO!!!

We celebrated Easter with lots of family - 3 different ones! In the morning we saw my Dads side of the family which includes the newest addition twins Ian & Evan.

They were definitely the highlight of everyone's morning.

Then we headed over to Moms side where we played outside with all the cousins & Papa was the Frisbee master!

We all enjoyed all the food, family & sunshine.

The final stop was at Josh's grandparents - It was a long day but nice to see everyone.

The OC Kitties are growing up fast!

They are oh-so adorable now but also getting into everything!
I can't wait to take one home with me I just hope Kobe is ok with it.

I actually signed Kobe up with a Pet Psychic to find out what he would think about having a new little brother or sister. Click here to sign up your pet!

Dogs are a whole other story - especially these ones! They are just crazy!
We dog-sit for my friends parent's every now and then and these dogs are so much fun. They are very entertaining. I've never had a dog but I am getting my fill of experience.

Guinness is especially crazy - and very needy. He can't be alone and will climb all over me - here he is givin' out the doggy-lovin'.

We tried to watch the Long Beach Grand Prix - and we did get pretty close - just didn't get in.
We watched from the bridge and then decided to have our own private viewing party from atop Keigan's roof across the street. While on the roof we did a little kite flying:

It was fun just to see all the activity and hear all the cars even if from afar.

My dad on the other hand, was able to get (e-hem) pretty darn close. (TICKETS????)
Ya - once again he was in the pit minglin' with all the celebs.

We did have fun even though we weren't pimpin' it with Xhibit.

We also walked around the beach and took in all the sites:

The boys sure do enjoy being boys. Josh & Keigan, otherwise known as Koshan played all kinds of silly games outdoors:

Flopping around in the sand.......

Skipping rocks.....
And I did join in on some fun with an exciting game of.........

Yes, Keigan and I battled out who could make the measuring tape reach the furthest! Woo hoo!

One fine Saturday evening we were guests of the 5th Annual Orange County Music Awards.

We arrived in style at the Grove of Anaheim and walked the red carpet.

Had a few drinks with friends...

Took in the wild performances, which included Corday's "Redneck Lesbo" and the Winner of Best High School Band, Stinky Left Pinky. (ew) These young boys are students of Fountain Valleg H.S. and classmates of Ms. Breeana Rombi - who hand selected them to submit their music for the awards. They ended up taking home the big prize - nice eye Brizzle!!
Some of the winners & presenters :

There were a few wacko's on stage who were a little dull to say the least. Can you tell?

But we are never ones to let ourselves get too bored. Just give us a camera!

After a few too many drinks somebody let us get up on stage and present an actual award! Check out these goofy faces:

We did our thing up there though - it was fun to be in the spotlight.

The afterparty, loungin' in VIP:

That night was a lot of fun.

Coming up next will be my full coverage of the Coachella Valley Music Festival that took place April 29-30. It was amazing! The most fun I've had in a long time. I wish I could go back and do it all over again. I'll have some great pics of Kanye!, Madonna, Tool, Damien Marley, Matisyahu and many many more!
Have a great weekend...............

Happy April Fools Day Lights Saving Storm Watch 010203040506!!
What an eventful week (or 2)!!

I wasn't fooled on foolios day except by the Trenster who foolishly went all scientologist on us. I did loose sleep over the time change and it's been raining a lot for the first couple weeks of spring - brrrr.

Also, it was:
01:02:03 04-05-06
early this morning and then again in the PM if we aren't using military time (which I am not). Then it will happen again in a century's time!

So, last weekend Breezer and I were privileged enough to meet Ms. Mischa Barton aka Marissa Cooper from the OC.

Actually we just bought some super cool Keds so we could be in the VIP line to meet her at the Irvin Spectrum.

She was very sweet and absolutely gorgeous.

To bad Mischa's not so into The OC anymore. Apparently she wants out :(

But in happier OC news! Those wacky kids at Oh No They Didn't witnessed the cutest couple ever, Adam Brody & Rachel Bilson, filming scenes for The OC at USC posing as Brown Univ.
So here's the scoop - Samaire Armstrong was shooting there too! Aha! I was wondering how she would fit back into the picture. Maybe Coop will stay back in the OC, (OCC possibly?? ha!) and the majority of the show will feature Seth & Summer with an Anna twist!?!?! I guess we'll just have to watch and find out.

Sometime early Sunday morning Bree's baby Keiko had a litter of kittens!
Bree knows her kitty well, we bet as to how many; Bree guessed 4 and I guessed 6:
Yes we named them all after OC characters &/or actors! hehe!

Sadly, little Mischa did not make it. She passed away and she will be greatly missed.

Hey, wait a minute - foreshadowing?!?! Is our little Obsessed Completely cat colony/ warped/reality subconsciously influencing the show?? Caarraaazy!

On Tuesday, we ventured over to Hollywood and saw the Friends of Rock n' Roll perform at the Lava Lounge:

The are WAY to hip to be cool and WAY to cool to be hip.

They were really original, talented & crazy! They all played all instruments and all sang - they kept pulling "switcheroo's" on our asses. Check out their music here.

Later that evening we went to Midnight Taco - rated best, scary, ghetto-hood, authentic, straight outta Tijuana taco cart ever. (By the Kristina Loves Food Ratings System). Cheap, chimichangas at any hour! Yumm- buuurp.

On Thursday, Breezle & I attended an advanced screening of the upcoming Todd Phillips release, School for Scoundrels. The movie was hilarious! The cast made the movie, each and every one was a hysterical performance.
Come on! Napoleon, I mean Jon Heder? Best Week Ever's Paul Scheer? SNL's Horatio "Cocoa Buttah" Sanz ? David Cross, Luis Guzman, Billy Bob cast as an asshole? Michael Clark as the bad guy sidekick...Sarah Silverman as a straight up bitch? Perfection.

We loved it and because we are sooooo friggin' sweet, we were chosen to be a part of the 'panel.' We were able to let the people who care know what we really thought about the flick. Todd was there, although we didn't get to meet him, we did see him in the Lobby! Holla!

School for Scoundrels is set for a Sept. 06 release. I can't wait to see it again!

Koshen made an appearance this weekend:

Big K - what exactly are you trying to hide? Your actions speak magnitudes...

This weekend is the 5th Annual Orange County Music Awards, held at the Grove of Anaheim. I got to play graphic designer for the event & loose many, many precious hours of beauty sleep. I did eventually turn out a 52 page brochure, a CD & a t-shirt. Fun times!
Here are the ladies at last months Southern California Music Awards.
Support Local Music!

The twins are growing every day and here are some great pics of the boys:

Just TWO cute!

Love them! Can't get enough of them!

Just because I find this to be awesomely awesome:

I totally agree.

And now, a very special Reality TV moment. I lost another pic from my Top 6 AI Contestants. We said goodbye to Mandissa. She really couldn't pull off the country theme but she should have stayed longer.

The Flavor of Love reunion took place too - and it was so trashtastic! New York has way more class than Pumkin will ever have - she would never spit in her face - she just wanted to bitch slap her! Love it! Rumor has it that Flav and NY will be coming back to TV to film their love story. What? Really!?? Dreams can come true! I knew they were destined to be together.
And then we hear that Pumkin is now engaged to be married to her lesbian lover!

And if we really needed a reminder as to why we all love America's Next Top Model, I give you Danielle:
Danielle_trip thanks, fourfour.

One last, just because you're bored enough to get all the way to the end of this endless post you might as well learn some useless facts, thingy:
